Remember last year when we didn't post for a few months? Well it happened again. But we sure have a good excuse. Kathy's baby daughter, Ryleigh, got married. She is beautiful, smart and precious just like her mother and older sister.
Kathy and I had so much fun shopping and finding treasures to use at the wedding and reception. The wedding was held at the oldest Baptist Church in Kaufman County. So you know it was one of those small white beautiful framed churches you see when you are out driving on a country road. The reception was held at a tea room called Blessings on Brin. It could not have been more beautiful.
Kathy is an amazing wife and mother. She is talented in so many ways. She made most everything at the reception. Personally, my favorite was the family cake stand! It was so unique and such a keep sake for Ry to use for a long time.

I told you she was talented….yes, she made the cake and the cake decorations. |

The cake was served out of a vintage suitcase with vintage dessert plates.
I adore the Mr. & Mrs. banner in the background….and yes, she made that. |

Yep, this is my favorite. She made a cake stand out of a Lazy Susan and a milk glass fruit bowl. She glued the milk glass bowl to the bottom of the Lazy Susan. Then she decoupaged vintage wedding photographs of great grandparents and great great grandparents on top of the Lazy Susan. Love this idea so much. |
